休士頓台灣同鄉聯誼會舉辦美國老人醫療保險(Medicare)講座

休士頓台灣同鄉聯誼會1月28日下午在休士頓僑教中心舉辦「美國老人醫療保險(Medicare)講座，邀請江大學畢業的李元鐘主講，李元鐘表示他在美國接觸到一些長輩，聽他們訴說，生病了不敢告訴孩子，不敢去看醫生，只因為美國的醫療實在太昂貴，無力負擔，他建議加入美國政府醫療補助「德政計畫-零元計畫」，不需要付一毛錢就可以加入的醫療保險。如果不知道如何加入政府無收入戶補助，或者已經加入醫療保險，但高額藥費實在負擔很大，李元鐘均提供相關諮詢，該活動吸引許多僑胞前往聆聽。
